Dual Diagnosis- My Friend

I was talking with a friend who is now sober. She has struggled with her dual diagnosis since I met her over thirty years ago. She is bi-polar as well. Almost a year ago, she was prescribed the perfect medication for her bi-polar disorder. Her life has changed completely. Now, she is the person I have always hoped she would be. The person I have always known was inside. It is so amazing to see the real her shining bright. I have so much respect for her!

She said during a conversation, " You must first address the mental illness in a dual diagnosis." I am so grateful to see my friend doing so well. I am so happy for her healing journey!
