Panic Attacks

If you have ever had one you know how frightening and uncomfortable, they are. I wanted to list some of the symptoms and what you can do about them.


Symptoms

- Sweating

- Dizziness

- Rapid heart rate

- Sensation of smothering

- Trembling

- Chest pain or discomfort

- Nause or abdominal distress

- Chills or feeling hot

- Feeling faint



Ways to Control It

- Refocus your attention

- Focus on slow deep breaths

- Splash water on your face.

- Repeat to yourself "These feelings are not dangerous", "These feelings will pass".

- Go for a walk or do light exercise
