Talking to Me

I am not well spoken.

I get nervous around people.

I get anxious around strangers and in crowds.

I say and do things I regret when I am nervous and anxious.

I get in my head.

I am trying to get better at not dwelling on these things and just moving on.


When I write I get to be the person I wish people knew.

The one who can talk about anything or nothing.

The one who does not studder or say things backwards.

The one who sounds knowledgeable, instead of scatterbrained.

The one who is calm instead of anxious.
