Why I Write

When I was 13 years old, I started writing the things I could not tell anyone. The writings... the pen and the paper... became my best friend. They were all I trusted.

Writing has always been a positive way for me to get my thoughts and feelings out. It gives me an avenue for venting. It helps me see clearly. I get to write until my thoughts make sense to me. Emotions are strong and I do not want to act on emotion. I can pick up a pen and ramble on the paper until I can clearly process whether my emotions are valid or if I may have initially over reacted.
